Symbolism and meditation are the moments that characterise the paintings of Uta Peyrer. Circular shapes and dots that condense and dissolve again, coloured grounds that seem to drift off into an infinite space. The picture ground is created from many overlays of saturated and transparent layers of colour. Time and space are recurring components. A metaphor perhaps for the various realities of life that exist simultaneously...
